Adam, Yes, we had this problem, and had to apply a PTF and change something in our start up. I am on the road right now, so cannot look in my notes, but if you haven't gotten your answer by Tuesday, I will go ahead and find it and email you with what we did, if that is ok. Good luck and hopefully, someone else will remember the PTF! ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: QZDASOINIT and Client Access Author: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Date: 5/29/00 3:29 PM Hi Everyone, We use Crystal Reports v7.01 with the Client Access ODBC driver to connect to the AS/400. The connection initiates a QZDASOINIT job in the QSERVER subsystem, as it should, but this job does not end when the connection ends. It keeps running, eventually using up large percentages of CPU utilisation. We only use Client Access for the Crystal connection. Any other ODBC connections are Rumba and they don't leave these QZDASOINIT jobs running. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks ===== Thanks Adam Driver AS/400 Systems Support Specialist _____________________________________________________________________________ http://movies.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
