Yes to all.  And yes TCP/IP is working fine for connecting from PC's to this
AS/400.

the Mail Router name?  
                - Have you done the command CHGDSTA SMTPRTE(INTERNET
GATEWAY)?  
                - Have you done the directory entry for  ADDDIRE
USRID(INTERNET GATEWAY) USRD('Internet SMTP gateway') SYSNAME(INTERNET)
PREFADR(NETUSRID *IBM ATCONTXT)?  
                - I assume you already have TCP/IP configured and working
for other app's (like TELNET), if not, you may need to review the basic IP
config.
