Network Stations and V3R7 on Token Ring -- MIDRANGE-L

We have some Model 100 (I think the first ones off the rack from IBM)
Network Stations running on a token ring network connected to a model 400
running V3R7 and they work quite "well".  My question is "Is this still
supported under V4R3?".  We have asked IBM this question and so far nobody
can answer it.  We would like to do the OS upgrade but can't have these NS's
tip over.
