If you are lucky enough to have both of the systems "talking" to each
other, either via TCP/IP or SNA then the easiest way
would be to LPR for SNDNETSPLF.  It would be best if you had the user
profiles on the target system first.
That way the sent spoolfiles would be "owned" on the new system by the user
that owned them on the old system.

I have found the best way is to setup an outq that would auto send the
printouts to the target system.  That way it could
be up to the user to determine which spool files they want to keep.

Hello all,

I'm moving all data from one AS/400 to a new one in a new location.
( via backup/restore ).

I want to transfer all spool files ( and the spool it self also ) from
the old to the new system.

Is this possible? How to?
