Title: User Index Question

I have a need to use and re-use a user index.  Normally the number of entries in the user index will be from 10 to about 150.  After the index has been filled with data it will need to be 'refreshed'.

What would be faster (from a running not how long it will take to program point of view)
1. To read through the user index and remove each entry.
2. To just delete and recreate the user index.

Any other suggestions on a way to a 'clear' a user index.

Thanks in advance
Andy
