BRMS will save to multiple tape drives simultaneously. SWA is an option is you use it properly, but I know of many people who do not use it properly, and it doesn't complain that your backup is bad. If your system is clear (e.g.: no cross library logical file dependances), you could save libraries A-L to TAP01 and M-Z to TAP02. There is no longer a limit to the number of concurrent save operations. (On CISC it was 9.)
