The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Hi,
As IBM will not be supporting their Firewall product for
much longer we have decided to give it a miss completely.
What can I do with the firewall IPCS now?
Is it just like a standard IPCS where I can load NT? Which
is what I would like to do.
We are running V4R3.
First of all, you can keep running your IPCS based firewall through V4R4,
although IBM will drop the ball on support soon.
Nevertheless, if it works, it works, and if it's stable, don't mess with
it. IBM has yet to give a clear signal as to what it expects AS/400
firewall customers to do, and it is unclear to me if they will give any
signal.
We are currently evaluating what we are going to do, and I will post a
note when we come to a conclusion.
