I take it you're talking about 5250?  Then on the top left 
there is a picture of a terminal attached to a 400.  Click 
on that and select hide.

Subject:        Client Access Toolbar

Is there any way to get rid of the Client Access Toolbar.  I do not want to
get rid of the title bar.  The only way I see is to actually go into Toolbar
setup and delete each button off of the toolbar, but this also keeps a
compressed "empty" toolbar on the screen.

Any other Ideas?
