Ah hah!  Someone who was queer for internally defined spool 
files who thought that programming was the best way to complete 
this when a simple CHGPRTF would have worked without changing a 
line of code.

I knew it would be something dumb- the CL did an override for overflow at
line 26!!!

This is obviously a BPCS program associated with shipping documents & like 
me, you are trying to modify the output from SSA's AS/Set, which can be a 
struggle ... have you signed up for BPCS_L?  Did the program work for a
while 
& then quit working, or are you in the midst of an install & it never worked

in the first place.

We do our shipping documents on 8 x 11 PC paper, while the vanilla version
is 
setup for green bar layout ... if you also trying 8 x 11 paper you might
have 
any trouble with your PC printer when you send it stream of data that won't 
fit sideways ... we have had our PC printers jump to new page when given 
AS/400 instruction to print on the platen.
