RE: SMTP Mail Problems

Try the SPL2EMAIL option of SPLTOOL.  The email portion requires V4R2 or
higher.  It uses the Send Email API to send the spooled file as an
attachment and retains line spacing and pages and can produce text, html,
pdf.
