Sounds to me like the CL is writing to QTEMP/FILE1, whereas the RPG
program is reading from FILE1 that it finds in the library list. I would
guess that QTEMP used to be the first lib in the System Lib List, and it
isn't anymore. Do a WRKF *ALL/FILE1 to see if there is another FILE1 on
the system. Or, if it is in batch, put a DSPFD FILE1 just prior to
calling the RPG program, and look at the output. You will probably find
that you are in fact reading a different FILE1.
