I thank you all for your input. I finally resolved my date problem. Try Try
again, using your suggested code, got the job done. I"m working with history
of customer order changes & now that I could get days to work, I created a
field

DAYS-AGO = how recently a change was made relative to current date of
printing the query, with default selection criteria being all changes made in
the last 7 days.

The only places with ++++ now are additions (old date non-existant) &
deletions (new date non-existant) ... I want a report that excludes those
cases & I could do it by excluding those with all zeros in before/after date
fields ... is there a way to exclude output that has a ++++ or ***** result?
