Thanks Dave, I appreciate your detailed response. This does sound like a good product, my only concern is the security issue. We have our own internal network and I would have been more comfortable using the LAN or carving out some bandwidth for a leased line. Just to clarify, what does the remote user at the RCS need to do to access the LCS in unattended mode (i.e. first invoke RSC client, then enter a DST password, then enter NT userid and password). I'm trying to assess if this will be considered 'secure' enough to satisfy our internal audit and data security folks. What's your opinion regarding the security in your current dialup configuration? Do you think that this setup is unique enough to not worry about hackers trying to get past the password security? In past lives, this would have saved me many trips to an unattended computer I was managing. It was almost an hour's drive one way from my home. But that was back before this was an option, in the V3R7 days, circa 1997 ......
