Double byte environment -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

We are upgrading to a double byte environment to cater for the Japanese and
Greek alphabet.

These Japanese/Greek users will only use a package that caters for those
alphabets.

However...
we are unable to get clear answers from other software suppliers as to whether
their software will continue to operate successfully.

Do we need to recompile the programs or will they just adjust automatically so
that our existing English language applications continue as normal.

Any advice gratefully recieved.
