I had been trying with VA for RPG for a while, and it has been fun. Most of our shop is "old geezer's" :) by old I mean people who doesn't get impress for the look but for the practicality of an application. (ages between 25 and 40 but the newest on IS is an 25 Year old guy with 9+ year experience) BTW, I'm not trying to start an GUI vs. Green screen war. But, you have to use the right tool for the right job. And, from an programmer point of view. Is a lot easier and faster to create an green screen program than it is a GUI one. Everybody can program and design in GUI, but we still rather choose the 5250 interface for the "real" work. :) Emilio Padilla ----- Original Message ----- From: "James W. I haven't looked into this product in any detail, but recall reading something about Jacada Innovator (?) having the ability to convert your DDS to C/S and thereby using the batch processors instead of the interactive feature and saving a bundle. <<snip>> > > > >So, I'm already thinking about changing all my applications to C/S and run > >everything in Batch.
