Re: Installing IBM PTF's

I like to apply the group PTFs (which are more current) first, and then
without IPLing, I apply the CUM PTFs.  I do it in this way, because if I apply
the CUM first, then the group PTFs, then the process  will only supersede PTFs
that I had already just loaded.  Therefore, it would seem that it took more
CPU time to get the same end result.  You never actually Apply the PTFs until
you do an IPL, at which time the PTFs are all applied.

    It works for me
