Hi , We are facing a problem in accessing AS/400 data from a Power Builder application. We are using the following versions of different products. Win NT Version : 4.0 Service Pack 4 Power Builder 7.0 Client Access : Ver 3, release 1 When we try to connect from Power Builder to AS/400 database on NT, it gives an illegal memory access error and exits. But the same ODBC-DSN is retrieving data from AS/400 to Microsoft Access database when used from Microsoft Access. The error message in the QUSER spool files of the AS/400 is ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------- Message . . . . : Error running OS/400 database server. Error code 2. Cause . . . . . : Error occurred when trying to start an OS/400 database server job or sending data between the client and server. The error code is 2. The following explains the error codes: 2--Error attempting to send data to the client or receive data from the client. Recovery . . . : The following are the recovery actions for each return code: 2--Check for any communication problems between the client and server. Correct any problems that are found.
