I'll second Al on that about group ptf's. I'd be inclined - before running an OS upgrade, to order all the group PTF's, for application straight after the CUM. There might be stuff you don't strictly need, but hey, its better to be sure. List of Group ptf's is at: http://as400service.rochester.ibm.com/supporthome.nsf/Document/10000031 For V4R4 they are: SF99208: Euro currency support SF99200 Year 2000 (still being updated) SF99125/SF99126 Net Commerce SF99116 Print Service Facility SF99103 Database SF99092 Hipers SF99092 Optical Support SF99082/SF99083 Network Station SF99075 Backup Recovery Solutions SF99066 Java SF99025 Websphere SF99023 Performance Tools Regards, Stuart Stuart Allen European Systems Analyst Fellowes mailto:sallen@fellowes.com > -----Original Message----- > From: Al Barsa, Jr. [SMTP:barsa2@ibm.net] > Sent: Thursday, April 06, 2000 2:12 PM > To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > Subject: Re: Long running backups to a 3590-B11 > <snip> > However because of database changes, tape changes and Y2K changes, IBM has > > instituted a new set of PTF's called "group PTF's".
