We use RUNRMTCMD with the *IP option. You have to start a
service or two on the PC, but it works fine. However, these
probably have client access on them.

Have you tried loading FTP server on them? Prepaid option of
NT that you have to install seperately. Then you could use FTP
to run commands.

Subject: Exec NT command from AS/400

Hi Guys,

We need to start/stop a service running on an NT server based on a certain
event on AS/400. Is there a way to execute an NT command/Dos batch file from
AS/400 ?

Any help is appreciated,

Sandeep Potnis
