Roger,

I am running V3R2 and the other gents solution with the right click looked 
viable, and I could see that.  Are you telling me that:
1)  You were not aware that V3R2 had this capability
2)  You could set this with V3R2 but it didn't work
3)  You could set this with V3R2 but a V3R2 client ignored it.  Scariest of 
all...
4)  ???

You can only turn off the database portion (or any other portion) of OpsNav
with Express's OpsNav. Do it using Custom Install.
