How come we were not invited. I just loved the $8.50 burgers. :-} Bruce Collins Twitchell Corporation bacollins@twitchellcorp.com "People who think they know everything really annoy those of us who do!" -----Original Message----- From: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-midrange-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Rob Berendt Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2000 10:53 AM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: RE: TheAs400Group ...And I wouldn't even take the free hat from search400.com. They get the last laugh though. Got my forehead sunburned while fishing on Friday afternoon. $38.85 wasn't a bad price for boat trip, tackle, license, bait. And you could buy beer and burgers for a lot cheaper than the hotels. Dolphins and seals put on a show. joberhol@compures.com on 03/21/2000 11:46:24 AM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: RE: TheAs400Group <*snip> Just wanted to get yuz gyz feed back on this. While at COMMON I stopped by "The AS/400 Group" booth to chunk a small football thru three holes of varying sizes. The top one was a chance at a Palm PDA the second,(about have the size),was for a free registration to one of their seminars and the last was even smaller that would get you $5,000 worth of training courses on CD's. We I drew back and missed the smallest of the holes and the guy chunked me another one and said give it another shot. I did and I threw it threw the bottom hole without touching anything but air. I was excited. I was going to get some education courses except the guy who told me to give it another try said I had to have do it on the first one. I mentioned that there was nothing stating such and that he told me to give it another try. But alas I am CD less. But I did get some nice flashing bouncy ball to give to my children. <*endsnip> Well, I see they went to my school about how to win enemies and the IBM school of marketing. It never ceases to amaze me about how penny wise and pound foolish some companies can be. Instead of a raving positive report, they get the worst kind of help, negative. The actual cost of the CDs would be what $50.00 at most, now how many thousand have been lost in sales?
