Don I am being serious.   If you think xms and these other technologies 
are more significant  than service bureaus, etc, then you are completely 
unaware of the changes that service bureaus and early small-business 
computing brought. 

You don't remember the bullpen with rows of clerks cranking the handles of 
their Monroe Calculators, or the manilla ledger cards, the boxes of carbon 
paper, and onion skin paper so the secretary could type an original and 6 
copies?  You don't remember the stir caused by the invention of Whiteout? 
Have you ever even seen an glue pistol to glue telex strip to telex pads? 
Heck, do you even know what telex is?
