Excuse my ignorance here ... but if your shop has been USING DUPSPLF, and
now you must purchase it ... well ...

Why do you need a cost justification? The justification is

"We can't continue to do our jobs WITHOUT the tool! We USE it!"


Then again ... I am a bit slow.

Our shop used the DUPSPLF command which was part of  IBM's QUSRTOOL library.
Approximately, 6 months ago we upgraded to a RISC box running OS/400 release
V4R3 which I think disabled our use of this command.  My understanding is
that I must now purchase the TAA Productivity Tools package in order to
restore this functionality to our system.  Can anyone out there shed a
little more light on the subject.

In order to purchase this package I must cost justify this with my boss.
