Huh?  Well, I was gonna ask if you forgot DLTOBJ, but there's no such
command.  I could'a sworn there used to be one.

I am creating a utility that will duplicate any object and handle the
various exceptions that may occur when duplicating objects.  The one
exception that is proving difficult is if the new object already exists and
should be deleted.  For example, if I'm duplicating an object and the
destination library already has that file, but was created earlier than the
source object, then the destination object needs to be deleted before the
CRTDUPOBJ command can be used.

Trouble is, all AS/400 deletion commands are object type specific.  I could
create a dummy library, move the object to the library and then clear it,
but that seems rather clunky to me.  I've searched the API books to no avail
and we don't have TAATOOL, except what comes in the QUSRTOOL library.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
