Thanks for the info on the codes for color to all, now I have a more perplexing problem! when I concatenate the code to the message all I get is a blob character then the message, the system consoles are color. Does anyone have any idea about this? Ultimately we want to add the codes to the message files so certain messages stand out!

I believe hex 20 returns to normal. After that 21, 22 23, etc give you
different attributes like red, blue, yellow, blinking, underline etc..
