First, ensure that the spool file is on hold before it starts printing.
Then:

CRTPF ABC RCDLEN(page width + 1)
CPYSPLF TOFILE(ABC) CTLCHAR(*FCFC)
OVRPRTF QPRINT CTLCHAR(*FCFC) OUTQ(WHATEVER) plus LPP, CPL, CPI, etc. as
necessary
CPYF ABC QPRINT
Release the original spool file as required.

Instead of the above, you might also be able to use SNDNETSPLF
DTAFMT(*ALLDATA), but I'm unsure whether the "sent" spool file inherits the
default outq of the user you send it to; it might require user intervention
to release the sent spool file to the desired outq.

Dan Bale

Subject: Duplicate or Copy a Spoolfile to another printer.

I have a request that seems simple enough, but I can't remember how to do it
simply. What is the easiest way that I canautomatically allow a report to
print
to one printer, then print the same report to another printer, without
having to
rerun the program? Same system, different printer.

Thanks in advance!
