Jorge,

Superseded PTF's are only entries in the PTF tables - there are no physical
objects on the system that can be removed. The system will reject RMVPTF for a
superseded PTF. If you have save files and/or cover letters for superseded
PTF's on your system, you should be able to do the CPYPTF of them that you
mention, and then DLTPTF to get rid of them.

The Backup and Recovery manual describes how to restore your system, based on
the backup strategy that you're using. I would recommend you at least browse
those chapters of the book, then post any specific questions that you come up
with.

Hello all

  Have a very simple question reagrding Superseded PTF (s).

  Is it safe to remove permanently all Superseded PTF (s) using the RMVPTF
command ?

  I am planning to run a Copy of PTF to Tape of all Superseded PTF (s)
using the
  CPYPTF command.

  The other question is How do I Restore From Tape ? ... Just In case ..
