Thanks Mark, That's what I was thinking. Makes it MUCH easier to setup (more flexibility) than 10 characters ! The last place I worked, we were an international company into R&D and some of the scientists from around the world had LAST names that were 20+ characters ! Novell was no problem but we ended up having to "chop" the profile name to 10 for both the AS/400 AND the LAN(s) to cut down on confusion. Then get into the common surnames and WOW - NO disrespect to those folks !!
