I know there is a lot of disgust over what they've done, but please, let's
not sink to such levels.  Let's handle this in a manner that shows them
that we are better than that. 

I'd also be concerned about possible legal ramifications if this sort of
thing is done.  It reflects poorly on the list membership as a whole to
encourage subscribers to engage in such tactics as mail bombing their site
with 10 removal requests per day or signing them up for garbage e-mail. 
Think about this  too: if you bury them in garbage, will the carefully
worded complaints get read?
