Yes, management consultants. I actually met one of these guys at a client of
mine back in the early 90's. Nice guy, coming up with a report on how to
reorganize the employees at said client. He was the one making $1500/hour,
but very short term - two days I think it was.

I agree. For my one-person company, QuickBooks Pro does all the accounting
I'll ever need! And for the cost of an AS/400 + software, I could buy 2 or 3
PC's and have good odds that at least one would be up when I need to run
payroll <VBG>.

Doesn't this sound like something IBM's AS/400 marketing team should be
doing? <sigh><G>
