If your customer FTP'd a save file to you, you can create a save file on
your
AS/400(via CRTSAVF) and then FTP the file you received to the save file and
then
use the RSTOBJ or RSTLIB command.

A customer of ours took performance measurements, saved it to their
PC as a SAVF, and E-mailed the file to us. We took the file, and FTP'd it
to our AS/400 - to analyze the results. So we have the file on our 400,
but cannot RSTNETF the PF (as it is neither in the distribution queue,
nor known to the system as a SAVF). Have we shot ourselves in the foot,
or is there a way to recover this? We still have the SAVF on our server,
so backing up a step would also be possible.

important things in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles!
