  • Subject: Restore failure

Hi ,

We have a V4R7M0 m/c with us , Our software vendor have recently upgraded
their m/c to V4R3.

I was trying to restore a lib sent by them(saved from new system) and i got
a failure with error message CPF3743 ie Operating system Mis- match.

One way i can restore the lib is by asking my software vendor to save the
lib once again with Target release option =V3R7 and then restoring the lib
on my machine.

However , Is there any way by which I can install a PTF and I dont have to
worry about what my software vendors have put on target release option while
saving the library. The reason is that my software vendor are giving support
across the world and to lot of customers with different machines with
different releases.

TIA

Regards ,

Dajiba
