Is it for everyone on the system ? If so, it would be better to include the lib while creating the JOBD. Else if the requirement is temporary, then the command "CHGSYSLIBL XXXXXX" and "CHGSYSLIBL XXXXXX *REMOVE" can be used. Take F4 and see the various options. I basically use it for testing programs which are submitted in batch. That way I make sure that I don't have to keep on changing the Library list or the JOBD. -----Original Message----- From: David Gibbs [mailto:david@midrange.com] Sent: Friday, February 11, 2000 7:23 AM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: Adding a library to the system's library list At 07:10 PM 02/10/2000 , boothm@earth.Goddard.edu wrote: >Is there an easy way to add a library to the system's library list so the >library is always available to everyone on the system? Lets say, for >instance, adding a library named "TROUT". What about the system value QSYSLIBL (I think that's what it is). david -- | Internet: david@midrange.com | WWW: http://www.midrange.com/david | | This message was written and delivered using 100% | post-consumer (recycled) data bits. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
