James, WRKDBF is not open source but I'm seriously considering it. I have some hurdles to cross first, but stay tuned! About your hand-held scroll bar question - I doubt it. Scroll bars tend to need the enhanced controller features. And even if they could do scroll bars, I don't think you'd want to waste the limited real estate. William K. Sweet. Got a question though. Never used one, but do hand held provide scroll bars? Is there a 8x40 or some other display size? Or is the display just -real- tiny? My first reaction was that every VP at IBM gets to create a new display device once they hit a certain rung on the corp ladder <g> there's a gazillion of them. I would sure hate to hardcode device codes. Also, I've not used WRKDBF but I understand that it is a freeware product. Is it also open source? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
