A Sorcerer's Guide to System Access and More (SG24-5402-00) The new RPG Redbook is now officially available (www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg245402.html). You can obtain the source libraries by clicking on the "Additional Materials" link on the left side of the web page. You can view on-line and/or download the PDF file for viewing/printing. You should now also be able to order the printed version which I'm told will be available for a mere $20. For those of you who think IBM never listens - they did this time! We told them we'd like to keep the price down so that the price was not an inhibitor to people getting a copy. We also hope to be giving copies of the book away when we take the "Redbook on the Road" or whatever we call the tour! We are hoping this will be the first of many new-style Redbooks that focus on "modern" RPG and give practical examples of using features and functions. But - this won't happen unless those of you who read the book fill out the on-line comment cards to tell them you need more. As of this date there is no follow up planned for this year - and it would be sad if it stayed that way. Would those of you who participate in other forums where you don't see my byline (comp.misc.as400 (sp?) comes to mind) please do me the favor of cross posting this message. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
