Hi Bob.

My company, Aldon Computer Group, has a cross platform change management
system called Aldon Affiniti. It is also integrated with Visual Age for
Java, allowing you to perform checkouts and promotes from within VA and
store files on the IFS.

We are looking for version control software where the primary requirement is
support for moves to production for Visual Age for Java objects. That is
enabling moves of PC files to the IFS and version control surrounding this.
Additional nice-to-haves include 1- support for versioning and moving
standard
AS400 objects (CLs, DTAARAs, RPG programs, etc) to production and 2- ability
to
initiate the Visual Age moves to production from within VA, rather than
doing a
multi-step export process.

Does anyone have experience with version control products that support the
above?
