× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

We are upgrading our 170 4.3 to 4.4. 

When we enter the Ipl source as the cd. The machine goes down, restarts. The 
sign on displays. user/password are entered. the a message comes back 
displaying "SYSTEM VALIDATION ERROR".

Does this mean something on the cd does not jove with the info on the 170?

We have called ibm they are looking into it.

any thought will help.
