My fingers are fumbling around today...I sent that prior post when I mean to
paste the example:
As I recall you can use SQL to change the field text (but not the name, size
or type) without causing a level check. The example from the SQL Reference
manual is:
Enter a label on the DEPTNO column of table CORPDATA.DEPARTMENT.
LABEL ON COLUMN CORPDATA.DEPARTMENT.DEPTNO
IS 'DEPARTMENT NUMBER'
