An I is an option but some of these queries are building summary/work files
for use later in the job stream. Actually I got through yesterday, when one
of the queries ran, gave me the "level check" msg I went in to wrkqry did
the 2 f3 thing then went back and replied to the message with an R.

P.S. I got them all fixed by kludging a client access macro, didn't
completely automate but cut the time SIGNIFICANTLY (BTW I ALMOST made the 7
pm deadline I had (7:15.....)

Subject: Re : ? regarding Queries

-We recently added fields to one of our "Master" files. All is
-well except
-for queries that run against that file, they are erroring out (i.e.
-equivalent to a level check). The only way I know of to fix is
-to WRKQRY on
-that query with revise and exit. that works fine except I have
-500+ queries
-that use the file (DON'T ASK!!!!). Does anyone know of a way
-to do a batch
-type update, or at least some automated way to correct?????

Hi,

I won't ask but please feel free to reply to Colin's question (I'm also
intrigued).

When the error message comes up on the screen, do you have an option to
ignore ?
If so, perhaps consider adding an entry to the system reply list to send
the message in question an "I"

Regards
John.
