It must have something to do with the multiple members because we have single member files with 5 to 10 million records with several logicals over them and have never seen this, we are at V4R3. What is specified on the physical file for path rebuild? Is the *IDX-file stating the logical you refer to or what? Are there any other logicals over the file that do not have *IMMED for path rebuild? Can you recreate the setup with only one member to see how it acts? This is a strange one to me!
