I am looking to find out what the constraints are in Bill's OS (Win95 or Win98) with regard to getting a TN5250 display session to two different AS/400's via two different physical connections. Consider on one desktop the following two connections: A. MS DUN TCP/IP to AS/400 simultaneous with B. Ethernet TCP/IP to AS/400 My understanding is that if either A or B above include any kind of a gateway (as defined in the Network; Protocol properties) then the MS Win9x Winsock will only allow one simultaneous connection. If, OTOH, no gateway is involved then the MS Win9x Winsock WILL allow for simultaneous connections (BTW including ping). In advance, many thanks, Jerry Jerry Draper, Trilobyte Software Systems, since 1976 Specializing in connecting PC's, Windows, MAC's, and LAN's to the AS/400 Representing Synapse, Apple, UDS, Nlynx, Perle, Lucent, etc. (415) 457-3431; (415) 258-1658fax; jdraper@wco.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
