Michael,

If you have a printer that either is or can emulate an HP LaserJet 4 or newer, I
think you can create a printer session specifying Transform ASCII data on the
AS/400 (host print transform) turned on that can print barcodes. It's been a
while, though, and I don't have one to test with right here at the moment, so
please don't beat me up if it doesn't work. <grin>

Good luck with your snow! We had that storm here in SC yesterday - the snow
made a mess here.

I am stuck at home due to this big snow storm hitting the northeast, and am
trying to do some
work from home. I need to see how a barcode is displayed on a report so that
I can do some
programming work.. Problem is the file is an AFP print file.

I just need to see the barcode, I don't need to print it out.

Is there a way to (1) Create a printer session to print the barcode or (2)
when I go into the AFP
viewer that comes with CA, all I get is garbage..
