I've had a brief flirtation with thinking about this kind of stuff

There is an Oracle/400 gateway product - details are on the oracle page.

Also, NotesPump might be abother option depending what you want to do.

Another one I've heard of is Symbiator which is from the Vision people I
think (LakeView ?)
