I'll see if I can find out what it is. They bought them before I was hired, and I haven't been directly involved in working with them. Someone here must know what they are. Could you post the product ID for those IBM industrial station PC? They work pretty well most of the time - we don't seem to have much trouble with dirt on them. What seems to happen is that after the first week or two it's mainly just the "casual" users using them - the more frequent folks tend to go back to the keyboard/mouse. Our folks are handling cloth, so we probably don't get as much of a dirt problem as a lot of others might see, either. You definitely need to do that pilot, though. Dave Shaw -----Original Message----- From: Denis Robitaille [mailto:DRobitaille@cascades.com] In fact, the greasy finger syndrom is on our mind. In our particular set-up, it should not be an issu. Anyway, before commiting a lot of $ to it, we would like to try it on a limited scale (1 screen). And I dont want to discard this possibility just because of the "possibility" of dammage caused by dirtyness. If this project gets caned, it will be because we "proved" that is was not viable. So it SOUNDS good and I want to do a pilot to see if it WORKS good. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
