> It consumes cycles only. This is not completely true. We have seen this thing consume HUGE cycles on systems that were not even server boxes. In digging through the problem with IBM's help it turned out that if a token-ring line with monitoring turned way up experienced a lot of errors, this guy (CFINT01) chewed up a LOT of CPU and memory. One day it consumed nearly 100% of system memory (which was maxed for the model) and about 99% of CPU. Turning off the T/R monitoring set the system back to normal in about 5 minutes.
