John, Code page 65535 means that the data is to be treated as Hex data and not converted; so the PC is trying to access a conversion table from 65535 (never convert) to 437 (PC data: USA) and getting an error as no such table exists. Check to see the CCSID of your AS/400 file (DSPFD) and if it's 65535 change it to something else (like 37).
