point someone to a place where things already exist.

I hear you!  I've created a service program.  Documented the bejeebers out of 
it in a Notes document.  Made the document so that you don't have to look at 
the code.  For example, do you have to look at the compiler code to know how 
the MOVE command works?  Yet, still, the developers here will write their own.
