Y2K Reflections

I wouldn't describe it as a problem exactly but my home Win 95 machine rolled
over the century just fine _except_ it decided for some reason to move me to the
west coast!  My normal East Coast time zone changed overnight to West Coast.

As to original question. Undoubtedly some people used Y2K as an excuse to
upgrade hardware that could probably have survived but the operative word is
"probably".

Hindsight is always 20-20 - today I know that I didn't need the house, medical,
car, or life insurance that I paid for yesterday!!!
