None taken, but don't you think it ironic that those with the most to lose (Authors of AS/400 guides and periodicals) are the ones pushing the dirt in over the poor box. I for one don't see where consultants, and writers come off talking like that. Lets look at some numbers on how many people are using RPG as compared to C (no offense) or java on the 400? Lets look at the types of apps developed on the 400. You think that just because people have a gui interface that that is the preferred method of 10 key data entry? This attitude is way Micro$oft. Just because java is now available for the 400 that we are going to spend all our time and resources to port all our green screen apps to java. IMHO, RPG is the heart of the 400, everything else is just eye candy.
