Hi!

Some questions came in mind regarding the V3R7->V4R4 + 400->720 transition.

1. In the 1st step we upgrade to V4R3. Do we need a valid license key for this
interim upgrade step? We do not have valid license for V4R3, only for V4R4.
However, we'll upgrede to V4R4 before the grace period expires.

2. Can I upgrade a lic. pgm. (other than OS/400) from a V3R7 backlevel copy to
V4R4 directly? This way we could save the time needed to upgrade from V3R7 to
V4R3.

3. We want to save the system from a model 400 and restore it to a model 720.
The serial numbers will match, but the load source will be different. I fear
that we will need a system password - what are you thinking about that? By the
way: when does the system asks for a system password?

4. Are there any security changes (ie. blocked interfaces) that could prevet the
apps running correctly?
